Maray Fritze born July 12, 1985) is a Cuban actress, Filmmaker/Producer based in New York City. She began her career in Havana with the leading role of Clitemnestra Pla in Electra Garrigó, a playwright by Virgilio Piñera with the Olga Alonso Theater. She has played in several TV series, films and documentaries. In her native Cienfuegos she graduated in Music and Choir Conductor in 2004.
As a cuban refugee artist, she continues to use her talent as a platform for advocacy, raising awareness about the plight of refugees and promoting the importance of art in healing and reconciliation. Through her art she hopes to inspire others to find their own voice and to embrace the power of creativity in overcoming adversity.
